Training and Experience
My core training is with wpf therapy, where I achieved the Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Theory and Practice. Wpf is recognised as one of the UK’s leading psychodynamic training institutes with a 40 year history of providing vigorous, high quality, professional training.I also have a Certificate in Counselling from Birkbeck College, and a Certificate in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy awarded by the University of West Scotland.
As a proficient counsellor and psychotherapist, I work to professional standards and codes of conduct. I am a professional member of the bacp and fpc.
During the early 1990’s I worked in healthcare and counselling services, later developing a specialist interest in substance misuse and forensic behaviour. I have over twenty years experience in relationship mediation, coaching, and organisational dynamics, and four years expereince of providing counselling and psychodynamic psychotherapy at wpf therapy.
